SBI Review: Yes, you CAN build a high traffic successful website using Solo Build It (SBI!). Without it, scientific PROOF (below) shows that failure rates will be high.
Hello! If this is the first page on Beautiful Pacific Northwest that you're seeing, my name is Karen Patry, and I am the owner and developer of this website.
You may have come here looking for information about Solo Build It!, as questions seem to abound as to whether or not Solo Build It! is a great website-building platform or is a flat-out scam.
Not only do I have good news for you, but I will connect you to other web-business owners who will offer their (unpaid) SBI reviews from the perspective of their own experiences.
Lastly, I will connect you to a scientifically conducted study comparing the results of Solo Built It! to another website-building system that pays their associates handsomely to write reviews comparing SBI! unfavorably with their own system, Wealthy Affiliate (WA).
Solo Build It!, also known as SBI! or in the past, Site Build It!, is a turn-key website-building and hosting system. They provide EVERYTHING you need to know and utilize in order to create an internet-based business from start to finish, whether or not you are a solopreneur or other legal entity.
The cost is $300/year, a cost that has not changed in the 10 years I have been associated with them. Those who understand the art of website construction will quickly realize that this is a bargain representing a value of approximately $4,000 per year.
Many of my days find me in front of a computer creating and writing content for two disparate websites: www.Raising-Rabbits.com, and the website you're visiting now: Beautiful Pacific Northwest. (The other days I'm exploring and photographing the lush beauty of the Pacific Northwest.)
Raising-Rabbits came first, in 2009. I was inexperienced at the internet, and hadn't a clue how to go about building a web page. Sure, writing was the easy part, but without knowing how to optimize the page, the only option for even a remote chance at success is to pay wheelbarrows full of money to others to do it for you. For me that was not an option, and I sure didn't want to write for an audience of ZERO.
You can read the story of how I discovered SBI! at my SBI! Review at Raising-Rabbits.
At the same time, the area where I live on the Olympic Peninsula, WA, was surrounded by the incredible beauty of the Pacific Northwest. When away from the computer, my instant impulse was always to travel throughout the area with my cameras (yes, plural) and record the beauty of both flora and fauna.
When I decided to create a second website in my "spare time," it was a no-brainer as to how I would proceed. SBI! is the ONLY full service system that I know of today that takes care of all the on- and off-page parameters to ensure I get all the signals right for the search engines, all included in one incredibly reasonable yearly fee.
This is a priceless advantage.
(Again, there are more details about SBI's full service at my SBI! Review at Raising-Rabbits.)
Beautiful Pacific Northwest did not start up until mid-2014. It is, in my opinion, still a "baby" website. It is not anywhere finished or complete, but it is making strides.
Despite being a young site, today (February 2018) it enjoys an Alexa ranking of 887,333. (In September 2017 when this review was first written, the Alexa ranking was 1,285,318, which is actually not too shabby a ranking for a baby website. Since lower numbers are better, the website is certainly heading in the right direction.)
And by the way, all of the visitors to this website are from organic searches, meaning, I haven't paid a dime on advertising to drive traffic to the website.
I'm following the same game plan for Beautiful Pacific Northwest as I did for my first website, which is: Follow the SBI! Action Guide to the letter.
It ain't broke! I'm sure not trying to "fix" anything. There is no reason to doubt that persistence on my part will eventually result in full success with this second website.
If you are interested in creating a website, this is the same advice I would give to anyone: Purchase a subscription to SBI! and follow the Action Guide to the letter. You won't be sorry.
(Again, see my SBI! Review at Raising-Rabbits for more detail.)
If you’ve been looking for SBI reviews, you may have come across various other SBI reviews provided by associates of a web-hosting service called Wealthy Affiliate (WA).
It seems that no matter what the WA reviewer says about SBI!, whether good or not so good, their reviews always end up the same - WA is the best way to build a website, although they never cite proof.
What they also don't tell you is that WA has paid the reviewers very well to write these reviews and to steer the conversation to WA.
This conflict of interest immediately casts doubt on the validity of the review.
So, what is the truth? Are we stuck with a "she-said, he-said" stand off?
Thankfully, NO! This is why the study was performed - to discover the honest truth.
I won’t go into all of it here, because this SBI review will include the links to ALL the details regarding this objective, rigorous, statistically significant and reproducible study comparing the results of SBI! vs. WA.
However, here is a summary of some of the findings in the form of a brief quote from Part I of the study.
Note that the study uses three reliable services to determine various website rankings: Alexa, SimilarWeb, and SEMrush. In comparing Solo Build It! with Wealthy Affiliate:
Wealthy Affiliate “wins” the worst two brackets. (That sucks…!)
Most WA websites are receiving very little traffic at all. In fact, 87% of WA websites are virtually invisible.
Here are the rest of the links to the full study results, which, besides spelling out the honest truth about which system is most effective, will also reveal the shadowy bait-and-switch tactics of the WA program. Read all three parts for yourself and see what YOU think.
Part 2: The Study: Objective, Rigorous, Statistically Significant, and Reproducible
